The Blount County Real Estate Market had a very strong November! Although some key market indicators are red (see Quick Facts), the Average Sales Price (ASP) was very close to last month and the Average Days on Market (DOM) dropped 37%.
This was another month where inventory shortages continued to affect most price ranges. In fact, sellers in almost every price range have a Strong Seller’s Market working in their favor. This is causing fierce competition for properly priced homes, making now the PERFECT time to sell.
Buyers are advised to act quickly when the right house comes along. It is not uncommon for properly priced homes below $400K to sell within one to two weeks.
