The Blount County Real Estate Market had an extremely strong July! All key market indicators are green (see quick facts), and both the total number of homes sold and average sales price surged compared to last month.
This is one of the first months where inventory shortages are starting to affect the luxury market as well. Sellers in many price ranges have a Strong Seller’s Market working in their favor. This is causing fierce competition for properly priced homes, making now the PERFECT time to sell.
Buyers are advised to act quickly when the right house comes along. It is not uncommon for properly priced homes below $300K to sell within one to two weeks.
